Today at Telangana Secretariat Sri G Madana Gopala Swamy garu working President, Sri Vemireddy Narasimha Reddy garu, President and Sri Pramod Kumar Kedia garu Vice President of Telangana state coop Urban Banks Federation ltd had an interaction meeting with Sri K Surendra Mohan Garu Commissioner Cooperation and Registrar Cooperative Societies and discussed on UCBs performance scenario in the state of Telangana.
As on 31 December 2025 total 48 Urban Cooperative Banks in the state of Telangana have Deposits Rs.11311crs, Advances Ts. 7924 Crs and total business is Rs. 19,235 crs. Growth during the period from April to December is substantial and deposits are grown by Rs. 1109 crs, Loans are grown by Rs. 1119crs and total business growth is 2229crs. A number of branches are increased from 321 to 377 that is 56,
Number of ATM/CDMs grown from 331 to 380 resulting in a growth of 49.
Commissioner advised to monitor Profits, NPAs and our share of our UCBs business among the all India UCBs business.
Also federation leaders said 2,800 are employed in 48 UCBs and it was 2270 as on March 31st 2024.
He also advised to be in touch with NCDC- National Cooperative Development Corporation and explore the possibility of getting support. Meeting ended with an assurance to include UCBs also in the vision plan of the Telangana State Government for the year 2026-2027.
